Monaco, Monte-Carlo Monaco…
The Principality is not very large, less than a square mile, but
prestigious, beautiful, blessed with a rich history and a
thriving economy. Even more famous is The name of
"Monte-Carlo" that means the Grand Casino and its luxurious
surroundings, very exclusive shops, 4 star de luxe hotels, renowned
restaurants and splendid gardens. A
half-day tour of Monaco will either begin from the Principality itself or
from nearby Nice (a 45' drive on the very scenic Corniche roads that
provide breathtaking views at the entire coastline) ; that half-day always
includes a short sightseeing of the Principality and a walking tour in the
Old Town ; the walking tour starts from the "Jacques Cousteau"
Oceanographic Museum, passes by the "Immaculate Conception"
Cathedral (where Princess Grace is buried) and ends up at the Palace
square to eventually attend the changing of the guard, that happens
everyday at 11.55 am sharply. Starting
from Cannes (a 1h20' minimum drive by the motorway), the tour of Monaco
can only be proposed, for not having to rush, as a full-day service ; then,
it is possible to stop and visit the "eagle nest" Medieval
village of Eze located a 20'
drive from the Principality on the Middle "Corniche" Road 1200
ft above sea level. This Monaco - Eze full-day tour, that can start from
